FEELING OF COMING BACK ....

HELLO READERS !

It indeed feels weird writing after a long gap of almost 3 years, since my last post. I was always assuring to be regular  in every other post, I ended up with no post at all. In this post I would like to make all my dear readers know why, where , what I have been doing all these years while i was lost...

Well, must say, that study + work life did really hit me hard - in a good way though!
Like, work as a freelancer stylist as well as a working hard to get good GPA's for my Masters in Social degree. Thankfully,  its great at the end everything turned out to be great.
They say, "Don't put each foot in a different boat", but in my case thats exactly - what I have been doing it, since last 3 years; as both has my heart, mind and soul; which in reality shouldn't have been as per the the proverb.

Nevertheless, am trying my best in both field.

Looking back to 2014 and now, the fashion industry has grown so rigorously, it amazes me at times (in a good way). The journey of my career as a stylist wasn't an easy one neither its now, as my thirst of doing the better version of my work is still not fulfilled.  One am so glad,  about 1 thing in this last 4 years is that, finally people know what does the word "STYLIST" means NOW in this field of glamour and beauty.  Also, the number of STYLISTS are increasing day by day & their work are also very fascinating and interesting too.

Yet, there are individuals, who still mistake the work difference of a "STYLIST" & "DESIGNER".

There are few works / projects, I  have done as a stylist to name some in the following...

  • Pulsar Dare Venture Season 2 & 3
  • Himalaya Roadies season 1 & 2
  • Kantipur Television (for 4 shows)
  • Ncell Axiata (youtube go)
  • Nepal Idol Season 2 (from Gala round for the contestants)
  • Nabil bank
  • Samsung Nepal
  • Smart Doko
  • Official stylist for MISS NEPAL 2018 batch
  • Livon Serum Nepal
  • Ruslan FM
  • Ko Bancha Crorepati (for Mr. Rajesh Hamal sir) & many more
Am always thankful to all my projects / work, which makes me push myself to get the better version of work everytime. If I really have to mention few names, whose words pushes me everytime to get the best version of my work time would definitely be Mr. Kishor Kayastha (the best Fashion Photographer of Nepalese Media Industry);  Ms. Punam Singh; Mr. Karma Wangyal (Entrepreneur) Mr. Alok Thapa ( media personality); Mrs. Meena Kayastha ; Mr. Anil Keshary Shah (Banker); Mr. Aman Pratap Adhikary ( director)

I shall be always in debt to these amazing individuals for always pushing me to get the best version of my work every time.

Despite of, my amazing work life of styling career, I did worked hard on my studies too. I have almost finished my degree in social work course of study.  When i realized the other-side of my work enjoyment I did get to realize my the i.e. working for and with child born with down syndrome.  A very common topic which hear about in different field of societal setting but we never gave much  attention to it. While I was searching for  research topic for my grads final semester, I came across the word ''DOWN SYNDROME" which did made me think about it, but again my freelancing stylist work made me engaged in many ad shoots, reality shoots, magazine shoots ... ... .. , never stopped researching about it and after 9 months of research and understanding. Finally decided to take that field of topic for my dissertation.

I still remember my first visit to SATYAM DAY CARE CENTER and that moment hit me so hard, that i have decided to work as an advocator for the rights of child born with down syndrome, its almost 2 years  working there as one of their volunteer turned staff. (Thankfully neither of my works are hampered so far my organization president totally understands me & both of my work. she is someone i am so thankful to have as per my supervisor. )

As a consequence,  now am an individual who has her two foot in two different field of work setting of the society about which am always proud of sharing my field of work.
I hope you all enjoyed reading this long - short 3 years, about the reason of why I could not be a regular blogger for a while.

Namaste
